Meeting of the OECD DAC Community of Practice on Private Finance for Sustainable Development (CoP-PF4SD) on Blended Finance data  SAVE THE DATE & Zoom Registration Link

20 July 2021
| 1:30 – 3:00 PM (CET)

Dear Colleagues,

Please save the date for a virtual meeting of the DAC Community of Practice on Private Finance for Sustainable Development (CoP-PF4SD), to hold an interactive discussion on blended finance data and latest trends, scheduled for Tuesday 20 July 2021, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM (Paris time).

Blended finance has an important role in mobilising private investment for the economic recovery, including through the use of blended finance funds and facilities (also known as collective investment vehicles). Since 2017, the OECD Blended Finance Funds and Facilities Survey compiles and analyses information on the latest trends amongst blended finance vehicles. In 2020, the survey captured 198 vehicles representing 75 billion of assets under management. The survey helps to define the size and shape of the blended finance market and to improve its visibility to policy makers and private sector actors. Efforts to increase data are critical to ensuring continued growth in the blended finance market.

In this meeting of the CoP-PF4SD, the OECD will present the results of the OECD Blended Finance Funds and Facilities Survey, with a focus on gender-related data, as well as latest trends on private finance mobilised by official development finance interventions, building on latest OECD data. This meeting will also provide an opportunity to engage in an open discussion with presenters, experts and participants.

We hope you will be able to join us, the Zoom registration link is below. Please let us know if you would like to share a question, relevant project, report or theme in advance of the meeting – this will be highly appreciated.
