The Summit of the G20 Heads of State and Government will be held in Rome, this Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October 2021. One of the expected agenda issues is the consideration of the OECD/G20's proposed global minimum corporate tax of %. Yet this deal does not work for developing nations and will only benefit wealthy nations. Read more in our statement. We, therefore, call on all developing nations in the global south to reject the OECD/G20’s proposal and instead support the call for a genuinely inclusive, just, and democratic process of international tax reform wherein the interests of the African continent are taken into account.
