Belize debt restructuring deal & G20 summit

Dear friends,
I hope this email finds you well.
We wanted to share with you our latest debt related work.
First of all a brief analysis on Belize's debt restructuring and issuance of a Blue Bond. Daniel's article "Making sense of Belize's Blue Bond Proposal" can be found on our website, but you can also check shorter insights in this and this twitter threads. Eurodad's analysis was quoted in this Reuter's piece on the Belize deal.
Also, and apologies for sharing this a bit late, our review of the G20 summit (here's a tweet if you'd like to help spreading the word - and the piece copied below). As you can imagine this does not differ much from our analysis on the IMF and World Bank Annual meetings.
This article on the second Finance in Common Summit (FIC) and the public banks push towards market-based finance and private sector participation in the delivery of public goods, might also be of interest to you. Finally, if you haven't done so already, check out here the CSOs manifesto "The Future is Public: Global Manifesto for Public Services" and (re)watch the here event with “Enough is enough: The Future is Public”, bringing together eight human rights officials to discuss the crucial role of public services in building a more sustainable, inclusive, socially-just and resilient economy and society.
We hope this is useful
Best
Iolanda
